Candle Care
1. TRIM
Every time you light your nou candle, remember to trim the wick to ¼". If you don't trim the wick, you'll most likely see black smoke coming from the candle and the flame may be higher than usual.
2. BURN
It's important to let the candle burn long enough that the wax melts to the edges of the glass. The perfect amount of time to burn a candle is between 1-4 hours.
3. BLOW OUT
Never leave a lit candle unattended! Remember to blow the flame out when you leave the room. Candles should also not be burnt for longer than 4 hours at a time as the glass may overheat and become dangerous.
4. STOP
Once your candle wick is only 1/4" long, it's time for a new candle. Continuing to burn a candle that has reached the end of its life can increase the risk of starting a fire.
5. REUSE
Before you throw out your finished candle, check out our instagram to discover the many ways people have reused their old glasses. To clean your glass, simply take the wick out and use any type of soap to get rid of the wax before running through the dishwasher. P.S. our golden rimmed candles make for great reused cocktail glasses!
